- Classes are open to everyone,
previous yoga experience is not necessary
- Classes are all pre-registered.
$128 for 8 weeks, one make up class will be
allowed per session
- All programs are pre registered
to ensure classes will run regardless of attendance

Yoga is a way
to improve our lives. It gives us a means to relax the
body and mind. Physically, yoga helps to slow the aging
process by continuing to keep the body strong and flexible;
and yoga helps to reduce the effects of stress. Without
exception, everyone can benefit from yoga - people of
all ages and abilities, from athletes to babies - even
YOU.
There are no limits to what the body,
mind and spirit can achieve through yoga. As we release
self expectations and self judgment, we allow ourselves
to become uninhibited and allow the body to move freely
and without conditions. We allow the breath to guide
the body, releasing us from the mind's control. Yoga
becomes meditation combined with movement. By using
yoga we can maintain focus in the moment, taking us
deeper into ourselves.
Fleur de Leigh Yoga takes pride in
its teaching. Classes are limited in size so that we
may give each student the personal attention required
to further their practice. Our teachers are passionate
about yoga and the benefits and rewards that each person
can attain.

Biography
Leigh Soulis is the owner and founder
of Fleur de Leigh Yoga. Leigh found yoga after her body
became exhausted, and broken down from competitive sports.
The practice of yoga has greatly helped in the restoration
of her own body. Through Leigh's personal journey with
yoga, she has become passionate about the benefits of
yoga for people of all ages and abilities.
Leigh has been practicing yoga since
1994, and began teaching in 2000. Leigh has taught yoga
in schools working with teachers, and in the corporate
settings, including a demonstration and workshop for
over 200 people. She has also appeared on Canadian Living
TV in a prenatal yoga demonstration. Leigh is a practitioner
of Touch for Health and Reiki. She is also a certified
Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner. Leigh continues to deepen
her knowledge of yoga, studying with different yoga
teachers throughout Canada and the United States. Leigh
has a strong commitment to bringing knowledge to her
students and is passionate about the benefits and rewards
of yoga. Leigh is currently deepening her studies through
the Montreal Mentoring program with Hart Lazer, the
teacher of teachers.
Classes
Hatha Yoga
This form of Yoga uses the breath to focus the body
and mind and assists in bringing the awareness into
the moment. The breath helps relax the mind and body,
and helps you move gently through the different postures.
Hatha yoga begins with a relaxation exercise followed
by a series of different breathing techniques to help
move the focus inward. The breath work is followed by
the asana practice, a series of postures incorporating
the entire body. The session concludes with savasana,
the final relaxation.
Power Yoga
This form of Yoga is for people who have good general
fitness and strength. The theory is to heat the body
and accelerate the development of strength and flexibility.
It is a more intense form of Yoga, and through breathing
you can go deeper into your practice. It is a great
way to strengthen the mind and body simultaneously.
Mum and Baby Yoga
This class is designed with the Mum's and Babies in
mind. There are postures specifically for each and some
that are specifically for both. It is great for new
mothers, as you can share your information and questions
with other new Mum's. Some of the baby's benefits may
include, better sleep, digestion, and relief from colic.
It is also a great way for the Mum and Baby to bond.
The style is Hatha Yoga with some modified postures
to incorporate the Baby. The class is suitable for babies
6 weeks of age to pre-crawl.
Yoga in Your Home
We’ll bring yoga to you. How about
a ladies yoga night, or a yoga class while your children
are at school. We can accommodate daytime, and evening
requests. Whether you have 1, 5, or 15 people, if you
have the space, we’ll bring the yoga.

Yoga Retreats
Fleur de Leigh Yoga is excited to offer
weekend Yoga retreats. These wonderful weekend getaways
include two nights accommodation, yoga classes, guided
hikes and meals.
There is much time for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful
surroundings. You will also get to experience 5 Yoga
classes over the weekend.
Retreats are offered on a regular basis. You can come
on your own or bring a friend. Enjoy spending time with
like minded people.
If you have a group of 8 or more people, we can run
a retreat suited to your group's needs and abilities.
For a group of 8 people, the organizer will receive
a 25% discount. For a group of 11 people, your discount
will be 50%.
